Big Breakfast

Royal Three Counties Show

12th – 14th June 2015. Come join the fun and celebrate the best of British summer time. The Royal Three Counties Show is a popular event where you can come and admire Britain's finest breeds of cattle, sheep & pigs. Not to mention the perfect opportunity to also sample the region's tastiest food and drink.

Ledbury Poetry Festival

The Ledbury Poetry Festival takes place over ten days each July ( 3rd – 12th July 2015). We are the biggest and best poetry festival in the UK, featuring poets from all over the world. If you think you know what poetry is, come along and we’ll surprise you. There are live readings, performances, workshops, open mics, music, exhibitions, films, family events, street events, a slam and much more. This is our eighteenth year – join us for a celebration of poetry in the rural heartland of England.

Three Choirs Festival

25th July - 1st August 2015. The Three Choirs Festival, held each year since the early eighteenth century, and rotating between the three great cathedral cities of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford is one of the world’s oldest classical choral music festivals. This heritage has long established the Festival as a firm fixture in the British music calendar and a must-visit for lovers of the great choral works from across Britain, Europe, America and Australasia.

Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Festival

22nd and 23rd August 2015.  Last year’s annual free festival in support of Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Trust was the most successful and the largest to date. This year promises to be even better. Come savour, discover and enjoy the wide variety of attractions, side shows, craft stalls, local produce including beer, cider and perry for a fun day out for all the family.

Cheltenham Literature Festival 

2nd to 11th October 2015. One of the oldest and best loved literature festivals in the world, featuring lectures, poetry readings, children’s events, interviews, storytelling, book groups, writing workshops, education projects, live literature.
 

The Rugby World Cup 2015

September and Octover 2015. Gloucester is set to welcome the world to rugby and to Kingsholm Stadium in 2015. With no fewer than 6 different teams coming to town, there are some great matches to choose from. What’s more, The Feathers Hotel is the ideal place to stay.
